We had a substantial leak due to subpar work by a previous contractor,
so we needed our very first roof replacement. We met with 5 different companies.
Strander Roofing, far and away, offered the best combination of price, service
and materials. Chad was very friendly and knowledgeable. He provided us with
a temporary fix for the leak, at no charge and even though we had not yet accepted
his offer. The crew did a great job, battling pesky bees and working on possibly
the hottest day of the year, left no mess, and other than one blown breaker,
did not bother us at all. They were very professional and courteous.
We will not hesitate to recommend or use Strander Roofing again (although hopefully
with the 20 year warranty, we won’t have to!). Thanks again Chad and crew.

Our roof
was replaced due to hail damage and I had multiple bids. The
first bidder mentioned there were holes in the can vents and
said we should get them "closed" as soon as possible
to prevent water damage in the attic and he said it would cost
$200 for this temporary repair. Later that same day Strander
Roofing came to bid the job. They were also concerned about
the holes in the can vents - but instead of charging $200 for
a temporary repair - he patched the holes while he was here
with a rubber material with an adhesive backing - and he did
this at no charge! He (Chad) did this because it was the right
thing to do - and he did not know at that time if he would
even get the contract! Ultimately ....we did contract with
Strander Roofing.
The crew arrived as scheduled - very polite, and friendly. And
rather than just throwing all of the old roofing material on
the ground and then picking it up later as I had seen done at
neighborhood houses - they used a small dumpster on wheels with
hydraulics that they positioned around the house and most of
the old roof was deposited there. Naturally there was some on
the ground, but minimal compared to other roof replacements I
had seen in our area.
After the new roof was installed they spent a lot of time walking
the perimeter of the house looking for roofing nails and other
debris you normally find after replacing a roof.
This is a local company with a local crew; a good experience
from bid to completion.

We were so impressed with everything from the blue tarps and
clean up crew to the fine detail along the top edge of the
porch roof- and the flashing along the chimney. It is all perfect.
I was hanging out the second story painting the trim and I

dog treats!
